Projects Overview

We believe that The Church has a significant role in providing unique resources and services to our community. Here are some of the programs Destiny runs to add to what other churches provide to our community.

Destiny cafe

Destiny Cafe is our function and events venue. Our variety of function rooms are available for everything from a board meeting to a 400+ event and everything in between. Catering available and we also have a massive playground for children's parties.

the table

Welcome to the Table, our innovation hub and coworker space. We have a variety of coworker spaces and labs if you need to throw ideas around and get creative, as well as training rooms and workstations if you just need somewhere quiet.

mothers of PreSchoolers

Every second Wednesday during the school term, mums of pre-school age children get together and share experiences, have coffee and hopefully learn some helpful mummy tips. All the while your children are taken care of by our trained Moppets carers. You can have fun and get support while enjoying a catered morning tea.

Destiny Exchange is our second hand goods store and crisis assistance centre. Each church on the Tablelands has a responsibility to assist those less fortunate. Destiny Exchange is our way of expressing the compassion of Christ to our community. Currently, Destiny Exchange works with Community Services Tablelands, Salvation Army, St Vincent De Paul's and other crisis assistance organisations in Atherton. The Exchange provides furniture, toiletries clothing and household items to supplement the services those organisations provide. There are some great community service organisations on the Tablelands doing great work. Our goal is to supplement those organisations and increase their capacity to those reaching out to them for help. Eventually we would like to reopen the Destiny Exchange Op-Shop but at the moment we donot have enough volunteers. Click Here if you are interested in being a part of the Exchange.
